I think a better comparison would be 328xi and A4. At least then you'll have AWDvs.AWD instead of AWDvs.RWD Oh, Audi interior wins hands down.

recommending A4 over 328 (guess asking Audi forum has something to do with it ). If you look at 3.2 A4 then acceleration will be similar but handling will probably still go to BMW. I'm a huge Audi fan but unless you love and need AWD, A4 is really not better than 328 imho. If AWD is not important, it comes down to your taste and wallet.

How often are you going to <u>really</u> use that handling and performance? Every day driving? Probably not.

I didn't get the A4 for handling/performance. I wanted that I'd get a BMW but A4 styling &gt; BMW styling which is more important to me, plus the AWD is nice to have and fun in the winter time
