I could not start my 2012 Audi S5 V8 today. I put a new battery in the key fob, still would not start.
I went back to the other fob, would not start.
Played around with trying to lock the doors, and then Unlock the doors.
-- Note the doors would not lock.
Then randomly the car started.

I got out my VCDS software and read the faults, this was in the computer.

How serious is this? Is this a once in a lifetime error, or is there a computer somehwere that is going bad?

sorry I have only basic knowledge , can you explain how to check kessy for water damage ? which bits do i need to check ( sorry kessy is new on me ) I will check all the fuses too
