Default ACCELERATION HESITATION
I have a 2006 A4 and have experienced it hesitating once I try to accelerate from stop. It hesitates for a second and then kicks in and is fine. Anyone else experience this?

normal behavior for a tiptronic. no fix that i know of

Funnily enough my 2006 A4 Manual is in the garage today for the very same thing. They need to do a software upgrade (Audi are aware of the problem). Your local dealer should be able to carry out the work under warranty.

until the tranny program learns to hesitate again... goofy but true

Default I have the same issue ... so far no fix
I've found the cause to be a slow 2-1 shift. Very lazy shift. It should never shift to 1st unless I'm at a complete stop or floor it. Anyways, still hoping for a fix.
