Adjusting clutch take-up?

Hi, I've got a '06 B7 s-line. Love it.
Was wondering if there was a way to adjust the linearity of the clutch engagement progression.
Sometimes I feel like I wouldn't mind a little less precision in the clutch so it would be easier to smooth out fast upshifts. I drove an '05 B6 S4 with a manual and it was a more linear.
I asked the dealer when I bought it if they could adjust the clutch at all, and they said that they didn't think that was possible. Is that true, and if not, how do I go about getting this done properly?
Thanks everyone!
