Default Carbonio should boost HP/TQ about as much as getting new muffler bearings...

seriously, I am shocked you would ask a private party for dyno proof! Shouldn't YOU be supplying the test results to back up your claims?
I'm even more surprised that a company would respond in this manner. That says a lot... without saying much.

Default Some proof...

I live in Johannesburg at altitude ~5500ft or ~1800m so I went for the Carbonio in the hope that I would be able to suck in more of the relatively thin air.
Unfortunately I was disappointed.

<img src="http://members.audiclubsa.org.za/d/11359-2/airflow.JPG">

The graph which was done with help from vag-com shows the airflow over rpm. I did three separate runs all in third gear on the same stretch of road, once with the Carbonio CIA on and twice without, one under cooler temperatures ~18deg Celsius and once when it was a bit warmer ~28deg Celsius (IIRC).
Under all conditions the Carbonio actually showed lower, even if only slightly, air flow. It was especially worse at the top of the RPM range.

<b>less airflow = less power</b>

PS - My car was chipped and had a test pipe at the time.

Default I wouldn't go so far as to say no hp gains. You can easily get +10 hp......

if you put a big CARBONIO sticker on your windshield.

No intake mod required.

Default Sorry for the lack of dyno proof - but...

I'm a transverse guy, I drive a MkV Gti. If I'm slow to reply then I apologize. I have to ask around to make sure my information is top notch and accurate before I post.
