I brought my 2.0T in for front pad and rotor replacement to the dealer. Once the car was completed they sent it to be washed. The next day i noticed that there were many white spots all over the aluminum trim around the doors, especially close to the side mirrors. I have heard that harse car wash chemicals can sometimes do this. I took the car back to the dealership today to show them the problem that was caused.
They checked it out, tried some type of solution on it, and nothing. They are now going to replace all the damaged trim at their costs.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?

It was Audi of Willow Grove. They said they havent seen this before or had any problems in the past, but my salesman said that he saw this issue before and it is common on Audi A4 and A6

They havent determined what solution caused the problem, but I can say that I am very happy with the service and treatment I get from Audi of Willow Grove. Professional staff, knowledgeable techs. i use to take my car to Cherry Hill Audi which is 13 miles from my house, but they have been proven to be complete idoits when it comes to service. Cherry Hill miss diagnosed a problem related to bad wheel bearings, and Audi of Willow Grove determined the problem within minutes of listening to the car. Cherry Hill also hand washed my car with the sunroof proped open and let water into the car instead of closing it. This to me is completely unacceptable and therefore I have to drive 35 miles out of my way just to receive good service from Willow Grove.
Sorry for ranting and raving, but I just want to pass on the knowledge to others that may live in the Philadelphia area.
