Any way to turn on fog lights when selector is set to AUTO?
Just wondering if anyone has a hack for this? I'm wondering if it is just a piece of plastic that prevents the selector from being pulled out when the lights are set to AUTO, or if there is also an electrical issue that would have to be dealt with even if you could pull out the selector (such as the fog with parking lights hack.)
I drive daily in the snow and dark and the fogs help to see the ice, etc. I would love it if the fogs just came on when the lights came on instead of having to switch to manual lights and pull it out every time, and then turn off the lights when I park.

I'm happy they can't - everytime I see people driving around here (major city, lots of light, rarely fog) with their 'driving' lights on with the regular beams I assume its another GM product. I'd be much happier with an auto mode that let you have the lights come on all the time you are driving, or at least a way to change the sensitivity of when they think its dark enough. I have to turn to the on position all the time in low light conditions to make sure my rear marker lights are on.

Huh?
Why would you be happy that people can't turn on their fog lights with normal lights? Isn't that the purpose of fog lights, to aid the normal lights? That's all I'm talking about here. I just want it so that when my normal lights come on automatically (not day time driving lights) that I can pull out the light lever and get the fogs to come instead of having to turn over to the manual lights and then pull out for fogs. And then, when the auto lights go off, the fogs go off.
