I may have to sell my BBS's b/c they'll be 10mm too shallow (if that makes sense) at 35mm vs the stock 45mm

Default that sucks. if i were you i would get spacers if u have to.

(this is assuming that ur bbs is the same width as ur current rims).
by the way, if ur bbs rims are 17x8 +35 and the sport rims are 17x7.5 +45.... the bbs rims will have more clearance over ur suspension and brakes than the sport rims, but the bbs will stick out .64 inches more towards the outside

Default wait so the stock (sport) rims are 17x7.5?

because my BBS's are 17x8 and 35mm offset. So the BBS's will work with spacers then...but will stick out by .64". I'm thinking I should sell them and get 18's. But I really like them. What do you think? They are the BBS RXII's.

Default im guessing they are 17x7.5 +45... if they are then u don't need spacers on ur bbs cuz it will

actually have more clearance

Default oh nice. you think any rub issues?

I know people have posted about the offset, but when it is less than 45 I thought it would be closer to the car, or am I wrong?

I think you should be fine. I run 18x8 with 35mm offset on my B6. No issues.
