Is Stage II done solely via software as well? Don't see a price or info on the site about that.

Pretty sure that requires a fuel pump as well as the programming to match.

Default Great news Arin!

I hope you guys dont lose too much interest by being about 3 months behind the financial crunch....this woulda been a hit a year ago.

Looks like a solid package.

Default Re: APR Performance: bogus numbers?

Arin of APR, please explain one thing to me:
Your Stage One torque and horsepower numbers (292/241) are for a 93 octane Stage One set-up, according to your web site; the 91 octane numbers (which is about all I can get at the gas station here) are: 273/232.
Not quite so sexy, aren't they?

My local APR rep tells me not to chip for 93 because, unless you have a private stash of 93 octane fuel in your backyard, you will get pinging and (computer-controlled) timing retardation, if you only use 91 octane fuel.

So, please explain to me how I can chip for 93 and realistically get your impressive numbers when fueling at a gas station on the West Coast of the U.S.? Can you buy 93 unleaded at a gas station anywhere here?

Thanks.
JM

Default Stage 1=ECU. Stage 2=Stage 1ECU + exhaust + intake.

Stage 2+ = HPFP + new ECU recalibration.

Stage 1 and Stage 2 calibrations are the same.
Stage 2+ is a new calibration to match the fuel pump.

Default On the west coast we have 91oct programs.

You aren't forced to run a 93oct program out here.
APR does specific tuning for 91oct.
