Default Audi and Reliability Part Two

Audi and Reliability Part Two

Considering getting an Audi of some sort, no older than 2002 an no more miles than 50k, I hope to find one that is Certified with a 100k Warr… as well…

I will be putting 2100 miles per month, with no intention on keeping any car longer than 18 months…. Iâ€TMm curious to see how well Audi Holds up, Iâ€TMve looked at J.D. Power, and well it says that is 3 out of 5 stars so its average…. The question is define average?

My current working location is 60 miles away, I will be driving in excess of 90Mph on good days… I have a National Security type job, so it is key that I am where I need to be…

I know that lexus, would be a better bet.. But, they donâ€TMt have Quattro nor do that have the .. the Audiness that I so desire…

I would like you thoughts on this issue…, Who knows better than current owners, right?

Considering a 06 Accord V6

Thanks,

Dan

P.S. For those that are wondering

No female here... I will be working for Uncle Sam, and from what I have heard... From my local, High-ranking State Troopers, in my state is that certain government people do not get tickets...

Yes, I may be pulled over, and given a finger or two…

If you're only keeping it 18 months get a B5 S4.

Since when did the Accord get Quattro or have anything resembling 'Audiness'?

It sounds like you really want an Audi but one that has the reliability of a Toyota or Honda. If that's the case, looking at a *used* Audi doesn't really make a whole lot of sense (IMO).

Seems like you'd sleep better at night if you got that Honda or a used Lexus

Default I am on my forth A4

I have never had a break down and no major problems. My 98 A4 was 6 year old when I sold it and drove and acted like the day I drove it off the showroom floor. The only items needing service were the rear wheel bearings. They became very noisy. My 99, 2003 and 3 week old 2006 have had ZERO problems.
I only drive about 10K per year and I am a fanatic at detailing. Hope this helps.

But with the miles he puts on, the S4 turbo failures might be a concern.
