He's kinda right when it comes to BMW, they do know how to rip you off big time by making everything optional. Yes you can get the same performance for much cheaper if you go to a different car brand but no way will the quality be the same.

They are near last on consumer reports reliability ratings. Have you seen the 10 most unreliable cars list? Notice the BMW's on it. No Audis on the list. As the owner of 3 BMW's and 3 Audi's I can tell you BMW quality is not good.
