I have an intermittent problem with my 2007 B7 2.0 where the auto trans will get stuck in first gear and not shift up automatically. Usually happens after being stopped at a light. When it happens I have to either coast to a stop or slide it into tiptronic on the fly and shift it manually. Dealer will not do anything unless they can reproduce and get a code. Has anyone else had this problem or know what might cause it?

05.5 2.0t, Same as you describe. Couldn't figure out how to reproduce the problem, and it happens very rarely so I don't really worry about it. Would appreciate anyone's input who is familiar with this problem.
