b7 brakes

i was reading somewhere, i think it might have been this site, or fourtitude, that the b7 brakes are the same as the s4's. is this really true, and if it is, is it from the b6/7 s4 or the b5. can someone also tell me the size of the brakes on the 2.0t, i've been looking around but havent found anything.

Yes, front brakes are from the S4

It was mentioned in an article here in AW.

The B7 brakes are from the B6 S4 (single piston).

And a wee bit grabby...

at least when new. Certainly have stopping power though. Hopefully once the brakes were fully bedded in they may be a little smoother on the initial bite.
