Default B7 Cold start problem strikes again....

its the 2nd time this winter that I have been unable to start my car. Thank god for roadside who made it to my house in 20 minutes and took care of it.

The funny thing is, this took place on the eve of my service appointment. I guess I'll have them look at the battery when I get there.

Are you sure you don't have the infamous cold weather starting problem caused by the fuel issues that Audi can't resolve in any of our cars?

Default I don't know but once the jumper cables is attached, it starts up right away...

leading me to believe it's just a battery issue.

Default Maybe, but maybe not ...

While you are hooking up your jumper cables, the fuel pump is energizing (from the door being opened) and building up fuel pressure, so that by the time you try to start the car, there is enough pressure in the system.

Default hmmm, interesting. Well, I missed my service appointment today but i'll...

have them look at it next week when I go. Hopefully there's a fix available because I would hate for this to happen when I need my car for an emergency or something. thanks for the feedback.

Hopefully it's your battery, since that would be the easier fix. Good luck...
