B7 RS4 rep wheels -- 18" and 19" staggered look

Took this pic for fun today. 18" RS4 reps up front, 19" RS4 reps in the back (actual photo, not photoshopped). And no, I did not drive around like this. I figured nobody would ever post a picture like this with RS4 rep wheels on an Audi so I figured since I had them laying around, might as well have some fun and take a pic. Doesn't look as good as I pictured it in my head, but here you go anways:

For ****s & giggles, here's my other car on 18" / 19" wheels <img src="http://www.jdm****.com/Icons/biggrin.gif">
<img src="http://www.jdm****.com/Formula7wheels2/images/20.jpg">
I have some good<b> <a href="http://www.jdm****.com/RS4wheels1/">RS4 rep wheel comparason pics here</a></b>. In my opinion, I almost like the 18" wheels more than the 19" wheels. Here's what I noticed.....
- The 19's really do slow the car down on acceleration and braking isn't as good. Also the ride is a little bit rougher when I drove down the same street back to back on both sets. The 19's are really heavy compared to the 18's.
- With the 15mm wheel spacers in the rear, the 18's (ET42) sit flush with the fender and look good. I put the 15mm spacers on the 19's (ET35) and it stuck out a little bit and rubbed extremely bad with my lowered car. Without the spacers, the wheels look good on the car but IMO not as good as the 18's with the spacers (see link for pics).
- 18's would obviously look better on a stock-height or sport-suspension equipped car. The 19's would make the car look really 4x4. IMO, the car looks 4x4 right now to me, even when lowered on Eibach Sportline springs (almost a 2" drop).
Maybe if there were lower bumpers & side skirts on the car, like the RS4 or some aftermarket ones, then the 19's may fill out the car and look better. But as is, even lowered 2", the car looks higher than before. I think the 18's are more suited for the car and look better when lowered (at least on my car). Like I mentioned with the 4x4 look, it's tempting to get rid of the 19's and go back to the 18's due to the reasons mentioned.

I'm nearly positive the reason why the car rode ****ty is because you have a completly different circumference on the two wheels.
The NSX is PURE SEX though... post more pics!!!

So that would have nothing to do with my car if I did drive like that. When I said they felt ****ty, it was just 19's all around.

and works best on coupes not sedans.
But I thought a staggered setup was different widths of tires front and back instead of bigger.

yup... the 19"s look too big. wheels with spokes that go all the way to the edge of the rim look bigger those with a deep lip and a spoke pattern that finishes inside the rim of the wheel. with the rs4 reps, the 18" have a better balance with the rest of the car.
thanks for posting the experiment! it was interesting to see both sizes together like that.

RS4 Replica wheels- it looks like the 18" is a little bit different than 19". Is it real or just me?
