FYI, Delmed83, the people that reply to surveys such as CR, JD P&A and TD make up for more or much more than percent of vehicle owners worldwide. Vehicle owners on vehicle forums make up for less than 1% of vehicle owners worldwide.

Vehicle owners that reply to surveys (who are just as much non public figures as I am) have just as much real world experience as or more real world experience than vehicle owners on vehicle forums (such as you, Delmed83).

Your "remember....media is always controlled by someone or something" is bogus when it comes to CR, JD P&A and TD (surveys have nothing to do with the media, not that you would know any of this, Delmed83). That comment that you made, however, absolutely applies to C&D, MT, R&T and especially the piggish British equivalents of C&D, MT and R&T.

From 1998 to 2004 when your bad experience with Audi was typical in North America and people on AudiWorld (including myself before I smartened up) also said that CR and JD P&A (TD did not exist from 1998 to 2004) were full of garbage when they rated the dependability, durability, quality, reliability, satisfaction and service of Audi and their dealer network and importers very badly (and rightfully so as all Audi models and model years from 1998 to 2004 were very bad).

It seems that from 2005 to present, people on AW still think CR, JD P&A and TD are full of garbage now that they rate the dependability, durability, quality, reliability, satisfaction and service of Audi and their dealer network and importers very well (and rightfully so, and rightfully so as all Audi models and model years from 2005 to present are very good).

Therefore, all surveys always have been and always will be far more reliable than all vehicle forums ever have been and ever will be when it comes to what kind of dependability, durability, quality, reliability, satisfaction and service to expect from any vehicle brand and its dealer network and importers.
