Default Re: From what ive heard

When I burn the zip file to the CD, do I leave it in .zip format or do I extract first then copy the contents only?

Default Re: My SLVR handles it just fine. Connects every time, people say the quality is good.

See...this is exactly the reason why I kinda steered away from the motorola. Some people say it's nice and then some people say they suck. Well...the Samsung D807 doesn't even stir up opinions since no one seem to know it. I figure it'll be less of a risk with a phone that doesn't stick up any negatives (Even if there are no positives).

If you only have something short to say, try to put it in the subject line

The D807 will pair just fine but it will not push the phonebook into the BT system. Every Motorola GSM and UMTS mobile that I've tested with Cingular (including the SLVR) has been able to sync the phone book so it will appear on the dash.

Default Everytime something new comes out that's really popular and people rave about...

a new group of, self proclaimed, "experts" pops up and immediately begins to rant away on the net about how the new device, in actuality, sucks and anyone who bought one is a sucker and a sheep.

Though I can't say one way or the other because I don't have either phone.....or Bluetooth for that matter.

So if I use D807 I won't be able to use its phonebook through the car?

That is correct. I've tested it on multiple sw versions for Cingular
