Default Bluetooth/Stereo Amp/Speaker Issue...Anbody?

My 07 S-Line w/BOSE has just recently (3,300mi) started having max volume issues with incoming bluetooth dialogue and even FM/AM and Sirius incoming signal. Tried 3 separate BT phones and made sure all three had BT Device volume at max. Can barely hear incoming call, and other end of line is having trouble hearing me ("sounds like your are in a tunnel"). My CD volume is noticely higher then FM/AM/Sirius signal, as well. Anybody having this issue, and if so...did you try separate factory amp or head unit first to diag issue? No codes in VAG present. Its isolated to the Radio/Amp/etc. Tech Line has no TSB's as I know, so before I start ripping crap out of the dash, I want to poll the public.

Thanks! (He said "Poll the Public"....huhuh huhuh)

Did you try adjusting in-call volume on the steering wheel?

Yes.....I have done EVERYTHING phone and stereo interface related. It has changed since car was new. May have changed with reflash....or shortly after. Worked perfectly up until the sound went away. Even checking my voicemail via bluetooth is tough.

Default Yes! Same exact problem w/ Symphony II+

Most annoying is bluetooth. I pretty much only use it when I am stuck in major traffic and not moving b/c I can't even hear it otherwise.

It was only the other day that I noticed I was listening to my CD at 2/3 volume. When I first got the car, I remember 1/2 was almost too loud, and a couple times I accidentally turned the phone volume up and about ejected out of the sunroof when the phone rang. Now I have my neck craned over towards the speaker just to hear.

I polled the public a while backand got no sympathizers, so I'm glad I caught this post.

Happened before I got APRed and I have yet to get reflashed. It's not the software. It's the stereo.

7500 miles and this'll be warranty fix #2!! ...and I still lub dem joymen cahs.

Default audiopilot?

Could this be an issue with the audiopilot noise-compensation feature and/or your microphone? The Audiopilot is the Bose system's ability to change the volume of the radio or CD output based on the degree of ambient noise in the car. The only thing I can think of is that the interior microphone for both the bluetooth and the audiopilot is malfunctioning (I'm not sure if the same microphone serves double duty for both the audiopilot and the phone, but I would suspect it does). See if disabling this function leads to improvement.

Good to hear....will start pulling stereo and amp to eliminate issue. will report to techline and make it easier for next guy to get diag'd.

Any resolution on this issue? I am now having the same problem. Barely audible BT phone calls, while CD volume is really loud. BT phone and head unit volumes are on high and it is still difficult to hear the conversation.
