BMW vs. Audi (BMW Dealer sold me on Audi)

Well, I think the deal might have just been sold by the BMW dealership down the street from my house. And they might have basically told me to buy the Audi.
First off, they don't sell manual transmission cars at the local BMW dealership....1 Big strike. Second, I got profiled because i'm only 25 and he probably gave me one of the most boring / quiet test ride I have ever had. I think I waited longer for the test drive than I did driving the car.
As a comparison, the 325xi that I test drove was very very responsive and had some very nice power once I switched it into "steptonic" shifting. The automatic, i'm just not used to...cause holding down the pedal and waiting 3 seconds for the thing to kick-in sucks. I do have to say, they might have Audi beat with their 215hp V6 and I'm sure they got our A4 2.0T beat with their 330xi..The pricing is almost exactly the same. I could buy a 325xi for around 37-38k rather well equiped or I could buy a 2.0T A4 for the same price.
The selling price is, the Audi sales person was willing to take me on an all out back woods 30 min test drive through many turns and hills. While the BMW dealership took me on a 5 min drive around the block....

He was too busy at the moment to help, recommended that I come back tomorrow (a Saturday) morning " at 10 - 10:30...oh, wait, I'll be busy then. Why don't you come at 11:00?" He acted as if I was truly putting him out. Between his hideously bad teeth, the hand written name on the business card, and the bizarrely ill-fitting tweed suit, I thought I was on Candid Camera. I don't mean to sound shallow, but I expect to at least be treated like a professional by a professional. Audi's salesguys were amazing, as was Infiniti's.

I forgot to add...The first thing I told him was "I'm ready to buy an A4 and already have a deal worked out, convince me with this test drive to do otherwise"...I thought I needed to add something to the conversation cause he was so glum about even giving me a test drive. Obvoiusly, this did nothing to excite him.

slam dunk sales with buyers drunk in love with BMW before they even walk in the door. They probably pass a "have you drank the Bangle cool-aide" litmus test. Everyone else gets the blow-off.
