I just picked up my new A4 Avant. Supposed to have the $1000 Bose option package, but there is not one "Bose" emblem anywhere, as there was on my 2002 A4. Is it possible I got the standard sound system??? It did come with XM satellite.

Hmmmm...search the forum. I heard about someone having this happen to them a while back. They got regular speakers and no bass. Mine has "Bose" on the speakers.

While the sound isn't bad, my first impression was that it was not as good as my Bose stereo in my 2002 A4. I'll bet It's not Bose. I think I may have gotten screwed>?!

to see if any of them have bose requested on them, incase the dealer trys to argue with you.

I wish it had some indication of "Bose" on the screen when it starts up like the older Bose systems, but no such luck. Only way to tell is that in the sound settings there is no setting for DSP or such since the A4 Bose has the AudioPilot automatic settings.

Sounds like you may be part of a subgroup of folks who didn't get bose when they clearly paid for it

I see sat radio and RNS-E. Neither include Bose.
