Brake lights stay on all the time

Default I have a Audi A4 diesel convertible on a 2006 reg and found my break lights

I’ve had a new break pedal switch put on but still have the same problem I’ve had it on a computer and it comes up as break test switch problem
please can anyone give me a way to fix this problem as it is doing my head in the break pedal switch it working ok just need to sort it as I can not drive round with the break lights stuck on thanks

I all I'm new got a question I have an audi A4 2.0 tdi 2005 model problem with my brake light followed your advice about the fuse under the bonned by the ECU found that fuse blown fixed it now other problem arises brake lights wouldn't come on at all now and feul gauge don't work either since I replaced the fuse replaced the brake switch twice now any other advice please I'm running out of options now

Instrument cluster may need resetting - disconnect the battery for 15 mins and see if that helps. You'll probably need the radio code, have to reset one-touch for the windows and reassociate your remote keys after trying this.
