Hello,

I ran a carfax report on a used car on sale at an audi dealer and I am not sure what to make of the carfax report. It first says register as a "private lease vehicule", which I read as a private owner would leased the car. But later, it says sold at auction as fleet vehicule which maes me believe that it might have been a rental car. Can someone help me out decoding what all these things mean.

A trade-in or lease return sold at auction might be concidered a fleet vehicle.

That could explain the subsequent "fleet" designation.
