Got in a bit of a fender bender recently. Chrome ring around standard A4 grille (non s-line)got a bit marred up (but the grille is still in tact and in good shape). Does the chrome ring around the grille come off easily, without taking off the bumper cover? I have heard folks taking them off B5's, but not certain they are "tabbed on" the B7.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I cracked mine on a guardrail recently, would be a great help if anyone has any experience in how to replace them!
