Default Considering an A4 2.0TFSI Q auto with 100k miles

It's a 2005.

Should I be worried about that kind of mileage?

I have no experience with Audis.

That's a ton of miles for a car of that vintage. Make sure all the maintenance is up to date especially the timing belt service if you do decide to get it.

When I bought my Audi, my own personal calculations indicated that price differentials were not great enough to justify a high mileage car. 100,000 is a lot for most cars. German cars are not cheap to maintain.

I drove Porsches for years. We always said if you bought a $10,000 Porsche you might spend $20,000 bringing it up to where you wanted it. Better to buy a $20,000 Porsche.

Thanks guys. There's a bunch of taxes on co2/volume, horsepower and weight here in Norway. This is a car I would pay about $43k for. To get a car with say 50k miles on I'd have to step up maybe $15k and lose the leather seats and pro navi. It's not like in the US where you get 4-5 year old cars thrown at you, and, there's only about four 2.0T FSI Quattro for sale here in Norway at the moment. Not much of a choice. Here's the classified: http://www.finn.no/finn/car/object?finnkode=17739093

I had a test drive in it today, and even though I'm a BMW nut I actually liked it very much. It felt very tight, very little turbo lag and it was fun to drive. Some vibrations on the steering wheel, but the seller will fix it before a sale. Also the navi wouldn't read the disc.

There's full service history on the car, and it had the timing belt replaced at 90k miles, actually 20k miles early according to the service manual.

A couple of questions:

1. How much is an updated map disc? (CD/DVD?)
2. Anything special I should be aware of on these types of car?

Oh, and one more question:

3. There's the navi pro package in it, with BOSE speakers. It also has a memory card slot behind the screen. Is that for mp3? Does it give you full track listing, titles, etc.? Any limitations on size?
