Dealer is Using Castrol 5w-30 in our 2.0T...
I called since the invoice for the 15K service didn't specify what oil they used or a valid part#. He said "Well it is a Castrol synthetic 5w-30 and basically anything synthetic will work." If it is regular Castrol Syntec 5w-30, that isn't even 502.00 spec....?
From reading my manual looks like Audi really would like 5w-40 in there, and so would I. Maybe I ought to change the oil in between my free schedule maintenances with 5w-40 then ask them to do the same. I can't find much for 5w-30 that meet meet 502.00.

I thought it was weird that the part # on my invoice was ZVP-000-540. Must be an inhouse thing because it isn't anywhere on the net.
