End of lease question

In about 6 months I will be at the end of my 3-yr lease on a B7 A4. The lease allows 10,000 miles a year for a total of 30,000 miles. By my estimation, I will have about 35,000 miles on the car at the lease end. I am planning to buy the car for my daughter. Will Audi come after me for additonal mileage charges if I buy the car at the agreed upon price in the lease? I know they will if I turn the car in, but was wondering if they ignore mileage when you opt to buy it. Any help will be apprecvisted.

I would not worry about buying the car you leased. You know exactly how it was serviced and treated. The purchase price at the end of a lease usually reflects actual cash value. Not a bad deal in my opinion.

I helped a client of mine buy his TT at the end of the lease, and with some hemming and hawing, we got a $1000 debit card out of the deal. Depending on how badly they do or don't want the car back, you can either get $'s off the buyout, or $'s back with other incentives. If the car has held value well, they probably won't do anything. You have to push it, but there may be $'s on the table.
And correct that if you buy the car, excess miles don't matter.
