End of Lease Questions

Hey guys. So my 2 year lease is up on my '06 A4 in October. That means I have about 4 months to prep. I am just trying to figure out what the best option would be for me. As I see it, I basically have 3 options:
1.Buy out the lease and keep the car.
2.Turn in the lease, pay for the extra mileage, and be done.
3.Turn in the lease, and lease another Audi.
I am a student and do not have money comin' out my ears, so the best option would be the cheapest. Any suggestions? Any of you guys turned in the lease yet? What did your Audi dealership suggest?
Thanks a lot!

I would check to see if there is any incentive or deal you can get, if you buy the veichle. You could also try and negociate a deal to lease another one. Has anyone been able to purchase their car at lease end for less than the residual or get some kind of extra incentive?

If you either paid a lot of money down (lease jargon: large cap cost reduction) or the car had an amazing discount (cap cost considerably lower than MSRP) or it has depreciated a lot less than expected (based on original residual rate) AND your leasing company allows you to buy the car out only 4 months before the end of the term, you might want to consider having your car appraised at CarMax (if you have one of their stores close to you; check here) or similar store. If your buyout is lower than the price they give you, then go for it. That'll leave some money you can use towards your next lease/purchase. Don't forget to account for taxes in this type of transaction.
Good luck whatever you do!

Exactly, I would also like to hear stories of things the dealer was willing to work with or not work with. Or what they are willing to give you as an incentive to sticking with them.

Also see if Audi is offering loyalty rebates if you buy/lease another Audi. Typically, these range from $500-$750. I've done this twice in the past.
