Default Engine Oil Sensor Defective

My first problem! Three months and 2,950 miles. A "Sensor" light popped up on my little screen this morning. Manual says get to dealer. Anyone else?

Did you look at your oil level?

Default I looked in the manual...

Manual page 37-38. It's a "Yellow symbol" meaning WARNING. I'll check the oil but I'm pretty sure it's fine -- no leaks and the car is still like new. There's something wrong with the sensor.

That light can mean several things.

Mine has been broken since like 600 miles. It's not the oil level it is a "defective sensor" so I couldn't careless. I have been too busy to get it fixed because I have ahd the flu for a week now. The service writer told me it can be cause by roadents, but I doubt it's the case.
