Engine shutter and rough idle

Engine shutter and rough idle
Hey guys. New to forum and just a couple of questions on my 06 Audi A4 2.0T. Bought it from a friend. I'm a mechanic but more towards American cars and some Japanese. Took my car to the dealer to investigate some shuttering and rough idling. They informed me that there were several issues with it. High pressure pump pressure was about 38(low), intake flap valve, high pressure fuel sensor, fuel filter. I had them replace the high pressure fuel sensor and I bought a filter, which I will replace soon. I would think that if the fuel pressure was low I would get an MIL. They also wanted 759.00 plus for the intake flap valve. Has anyone seen any trends with this issue. Sounds like they just wanted to replace parts. Help?? Thanks

You need to post more data about your car (Fault code(s), fuel pressure (High pressure and low pressure systems)). You said high pressure system pump pressure was about 38. Is this 38 bars or PSI. High fuel pressure system pressure is around 50 bars at idle and above 100 bars at WOT. Did they give more testing data detail? Ask them about Low fuel pressure system data (pressure, in tank fuel pump adaptation value, fuel flow volumn, etc ....)

Thanks for your response. I believe the HPFP pressure he quoted at about 38 bars at idle. He did say that there was one fault code but i don't know what it was. I guess the MIL doesn't have to come on if there is a fault code?
There is a recall on the cam, cam follower and the HPFP. He did say that the follower needed to be replaced. He may not be aware of the recall.
