I've been searching around for ways to install xenons on my b7 since i don't have the lighting package. I've notices that the driving lights and turn signals on both the stock and lighting package vehicles are halogen using reflictor housings. This leads me to believe that I would just need to replace the low beam reflector housing with a projector housing and install the bulbs and ballasts. I found that buy the entire projector headlight housings can be pretty expensive ($500-$600), and then I would also need to spend an additional $300 on bulbs and ballasts. On hidplanet.com they offer what I believe is the perfect package. You get a pair of single projector housings, bulbs, ballasts, and adaptors for around $450. The quality is also basically OEM since you get Valeo housings, Hella ballasts, and Philips bulbs. I will probably be purchasing this kit at the end of the week so tell me what you guys think.

http://www.hidplanet.com/package.html</a

You need to get entire lights ..
to install those projectors they sell you need to modify your housings cut the pieces inside, glue, etc.. it would be cheaper to buy housing with Xenon projectors in them, then if case if you need to sell your car you remove the xenon, put your old lights in and you ready to go..

My car is leased but i am definately going to buy it at the end of the lease. I only leased it because the monthly payments were cheaper. Am I allowed to replace the housings under lease?

Since you are intending to buy the vehicle at the end, you can do whatever you want to the car. Dealer doesn't care what you do as long as you pay or refinance the residual value of the car, just make sure you keep the vehicle!
