Front license plate delete.
I live in a state where front license plate is mandatory, and dealer equipped my car for it. I would like to brake the law and go without it. How do I modify the grill back to normal? I would search, but I do not even know what to search for. Is it grill plate? (Sound like food.)
Questiosn are: How much and what part do I need? How hard is the install? (I assume SUPER EASY.)

Re: Front license plate delete.
IIRC it's just 6 screws and takes about 3 minutes to swap.
You can get the same thing from any dealer for about $100, though they may have to order it.
You might want to confirm that it's the correct part number for your grill.
S-line, if you have one, may be slightly different.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?searchstring=plate+filler&sea rchqt=byvehicle&make=Audi&model=B7+A4& submodel=Quattro&engine=2.0T">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?searchstri

I'd ask your dealer to give you the part
The plate delete/ plate holder is a no-charge option. If I'm not mistaken, the car is delivered with the plate-delete installed and the plate holder provided to those dealers who need it, so it shouldn't cost your dealer anything to give you one.
My dealer (wisely) opted to offer me the car with the plate-delete, despite our state laws, along with the plate holder to install if I wish to do it later. I didn't pay anything for this, and the plate holder now sits in my garage.
The car really does look better without the front plate. Let's hope that I don't get a fix-it ticket for this...

They have to order it from the factory with one or the other
My dealer orders 90% their cars with the License plate holder, and had to wait for a car to come in with the delete piece to swap me out.

Thank you. Your reply was very helpfull.
Now, the question is, do I shell out $85 or do I bug the dealer like the guys above suggest. I will try the dealer first.

It's no charge from the factory for $85 through parts.
Some dealers might swap with a car in stock, however it now shows on the sticker if they come with the Plate holder or the Plate filler.

Yeah, mine shows and came with plate holder.
I already picked up the car, and my salesman was not too helpfull with the plate. I assume that now they will be even less helpful.
Maybe if I sell some more stuff on eBay I will decide to shell out 85 bucks.
