Default Now I remember...

I had a Silver B5 S4, that I wore out. I still miss that car. I still have the S2000, my summer beater.

There is a change you can make to correct the mileage. Here it is...

Module 17 (Instruments), Adaptation channel 03
- Affects: Instantaneous Fuel Consumption, Average Fuel Consumption, Range, & Distance to Empty
- Default: 100%
- Range of values: 85 - 115%

Default Do you have a rocker button on the end of the wiper stalk?

(facing the pass side window) Push the top and bottom of that rocker switch and watch the trip computer cycle through the different options.

Default Use the mode switch button on the wiper stalk...

re: I haven't figured out how to get the trip computer to show figures for the entire tank.

Press the reset button on the bottom of the wiper stalk BRIEFLY. That should move you between trip computer mode 1 and trip computer mode 2. Mode 1 automatically zeros if the car is turned off for more than 2 hours. Mode 2 only resets when you hold the reset button for a few seconds. (Manual also describes the process).

Default That's it! Do you happen to remember which way I need to adjust to lower the mpg readings?

<100% will bring the mpg down?

Thanks for the help!

I lowered mine from 100 to 90, I hope that was the correct way. I have not manually checked yet
