Gave up my car for a week of GIAC testing/tuning
Jeff Moss has my car this week (A4 2005.5) 2.0T Front Trak so he and Garrett can do some tuning and learn from it as well. I've known Jeff for a few years now so when he asked me, I trusted him with it, normally I would never let anyone take my car from me for that long. I can't wait to get it back supposed to be a higher boost file then it was previously running from GIAC, which was a great file already. I've always gone with GIAC as they are very methodical on their approach of testing, not look as HP as their main goal, but more then driveability, and keeping the motor happy. The end result however is usually the most powerful chip out there. Its common sense really. Anyone could tune a car with a turbo, just dial up the boost and timing and you get more power. Most do just that. GIAC goes far beyond boost and timing, and tune every part of the motors, electronic controls. I've been there so I could share the magic! So happy motor means happy power, not forced(literally) I guess they are working on a more aggresive file for my car, then to release to others with A4's. The A3's run a bit differently. I haven't logged on in forever but I was soo excited I just had to share. I'll post my thoughts and numbers when I get the thing back in my sweaty palms!

I'm planning on going to Torque Factory for my car, interested in your results..
I plan on a long day, sometime in March, seeing how good the upgrade is. Morning at the dyno, mid-day getting the flash, then afternoon back at the dyno. So I can't wait to hear how your tuning went...
