getting GIAC flash tomorrow
I'm going to dynospot in San Jose, Ca tomorrow to get the GIAC flash. I'll post my impressions. Unfortunatley I think dynospot only has a two wheel dyno, so no dyno pulls for me.

Re: getting GIAC or APR flash in next 500 miles
Hey Guys, I am trying to decide APR or GIAC
The local tuner here steering me towards GIAC,(they flash both) says APR may or has had issues in switching technology (loss of power or C.E.L. going off)
I was sold on APR after reading posts on the board, I would like to use the cruise control to change programs if there are no issues.
anyone here heard of any problems?

Yeah testing the B vs. F hypothesis and how it responds on the higher boost file.
The boost file will be about 1.45 bar from what I'm guestimating. Not that far off just don't want to spill the beads untill its done and its forsure. The A3 and VW transverse motors have this higher boost file but not the A4. So they have to test mine and develop the A4 file.

Got GIAC flash today
Got my car flashed today. I can definately say it is quicker. It feels much stronger from about 2800 to 6000 rpms. They did say they are working on another program for cars with exhaust and high flow cat. Once it's done I'll pick up a high flow cat and get the new software if it works well.
