Default old US plate bracket & bumper filler?

Newbie alert - first post even!

greywolf1699, Did you have the front MA plate on previously, and if what did you do with your old front plate bracket & filler? I just bought an A4 in PA (no front plate state) and I live in MD (two plate state) so I'll need to put a plate on the front.

Everyone seems to be selling the blank fillers, but I am having a hard time finding the plate bracket. I may have to get it from genuinevwaudiparts.com

Hey and welcome! I currently have my MA plate and bracket in my glovebox. This is there for the purpose of me getting pulled over or for inspection. When I see cops I throw the plate on my dash. I have had the german plate for over a month and no problems. Check out ebay dude, You can probably get one for 10 bucks.

it seriously looks good!

is there any significance to the alphanumerics or is it just a random German plate?

Looks interesting. I used to like euro plates, but I never got around to getting one. I like the way the front of the car looks without any plate at all right now.

No significance what so ever. I was going for the authentic look. I ordered an original german plate from germany. I have gotten many comments and It kind of reminds me of the movie transporters if anyone is familiar to this.

Might look into getting an actual Euro plate filler.

Thanks man. I just shaved the emblems off the back. The A4 and 2.0T and Quattro emblems are gone. It really cleans up the back and I think looks great. Will post pic if anyone is interested.
