Default Getting ready to do a deal on an A4 ...

because I know someone who works for VW I get the car at invoice ... now they are telling me that I have to add $425 to invoice for dealer prep and advertising... ever heard of this?

yes, usually $400-500 added to factory invoice. It's also called "dealer pack". Dealer invoice and factory invoice are different.

ya the dealer has to pay pack charges and some other **** to Audi.

they have to pay like $190 in port fees and $200-300 in advertising fee (depending on which market you're in). Sounds reasonable, considering I got mine for $100 over the listed invoice (plus the $450 or so in fees).
