Ship 'em to a location stateside near you and pick them up. That's what I did with one of my sets. Small company just across the border specializes in shipping / receiving for Canadians.

Broker them yourself and pay duty and you could still save money. For me, even after tax, duty and exchange, it saved me 35% what it would have cost me in Canadia. Maybe not for your case, but I also buy mountian bike gear online from the US and ship it there too.

How do you like the Hartmanns? I see you have them in the picture...are those 18s? Is there a reason you didn't go 19?

18s are fine with me, 19s would look great but roads aren't great in some places plus it's $$$

19 feet is an awfully large diameter... Are you working at a quarry?

You can also order directly from Hartmann. They use DHL which apparantly has lower brokerage fees than UPS. I have heard that some Canadians have not had to pay tax, duty or brokerage even 3 months later with DHL.
