Default Has anybody compiled a list of VAG codes -- for windows, alarm, interior chimes, etc?

Now that I have sold my '98, I am definitely keeping the '06. And I'd like to make a few changes. I want to enable the remote-activated power windows, disable the seatbelt chime, and also look into some other options.

Thanks!

Default Here's what I have done on my car...

You probably used the FAQ I wrote on the B5 codes. Here's the codes for the B7...

Add window up/down feature via remote keyfob:
Log onto block 46 - Central Convenience
Recode the module with 11900 (Original number +64)

Remove Selective locking (2 clicks to unlock all doors)
Recode the same module with 11896 (Original number - 4)

Remove Auto Locking of doors as you drive.
Recode same module with 11864 (auto lock off))(original number -32)

Remove nagging seatbelt chime
Log onto block 17 - instruments.
Recode with module by subtracting 2 from your current number.

Lows/Fogs, Highs/Fogs, Amber off
Block 09 Central Electronics
01023 original USA number
01021 Enables High/Fogs, Euro parking lights - amber only on when blinking

I have a 2005.5 Black on Black 6sp Avant with 19" BBS RS-GT's, APR exhaust, APR chip and all the factory options sitting in my garage! Just waiting on the f---ing bank to release the title (been three weeks now!).

Default out of those, id use the low/fogs

if my headlights are on, i realize the parking lamps would be off...

what if i have just the parking lamps on, will they still light up?

can I turn on parking lamps and fogs only with this change?

the other change i want is the one that corrects the average mileage calculator in our trip computer

No your city lights would be on instead and fogs only requires a very small wiring change

Default Looks like you got a pretty sweet car yourself!

Not bad here. Decided to get a new daily driver, and the used prices came down far enough that it was almost an even swap from my TL into the Avant! Can't wait for the damn title to get here so I can actually drive it!!!!!
