Has anyone changed the exhaust tips?

I know what you mean, and honestly, I don't know why my B7 tips are always much "sootier" than my B6 tips were.
I finally tackled the problem a few months ago.
I used a multitude of different products (with different results) to get the baked on gook off them.
I got so desperate that I even (yeah..I know...I know....) used oven cleaner and a scrubby pad on them. Like said...I was desperate. I've seen no harm from what I did, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.
After I'd removed a sizable amount of the crap off them, I just continually polished them with Eagle One's Never Dull (the wadding).
They now look great for about a week at a time.
Once I got all the gook off after nearly a years build-up, it only takes me a minute or two to touch up the tips with the Never Dull and they look fantastic.

most have gone to Vibrant 1304 or 1303 tips. Do a search for some pictures of them
