Default Has anyone found thier A/C to not be quite cold enough?

I live in Seattle so I'm just testing it out mainly but it just doesn't deliver the cold air I would expect. My 99 a4 would chill you to the bone! I've enabled recirculation and let it run for 45 mins. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this.

Default No problems here

My car can get like a meat locker, but it's a garage queen, so the interior stays relatively cool.

Also, you do have more interior space to cool in an Avant, and there is more window glass to allow in sunlight. Do you use windows shades, or otherwise cover or garage the car, or is your A/C just not properly charged?

Yep, picked mine up over the weekend in Sacramento during 100+ degree heat. Dropped off my 2002 B6 lease, which blew really cold, frigid air. Going into the B7, the A/C almost seemed like it wasn't charged. I wrote it off to new car and insane heat being too much for the newborn, but at 300 miles (great weekend break-in), it is the same. I live in the Bay Area, so A/C is not much of a concern, but this is really disappointing b/c I love everything else about the new ride. It's a sedan.

Default I don't think it's an interior volume issue

The air coming from the vents just isn't as cold as I think it should be. It's going in on Thursday for other issues (key and clear bra) but I'm a little nervous about asking them to check out the A/C as I don't need to spend any more money on car repair this week.

Default If it's a new car, it should be under warranty

The air should blow nice and cold; as I noted, mine is as good as it gets. (Actually, I was surprised and impressed that it was this good, it's the quality of cold that I thought was unique to American cars.)

Maybe it just needs a recharge of the refrigerant. I can't see why this wouldn't be covered, just so long as the problem can be determined. The dealer should leak test the system and check the temperature of the air blowing out of the vents.

no...My B7 blows a lot colder than my B6. Both had Ebony interior, and I live in AZ......and it's been 115+ all week....
