Has anyone here grounded the Bose pin on back of non Bose radio? Does it sound better now?

Default Has anyone here grounded the Bose pin on back of non Bose radio? Does it sound better now?
I have read a few posts somewhere (either here or AZ) and someone grounded the bose pin on the back of the non bose HU.

Something about turning off some type equalization that the non bose HU gives off.

Just curious if anyone here has done it and if it sounds better.

It also disables the internal amplifiers ... so you would never hear if it did!
