Okay i have a 2001 audi a4 and my check engine light is always on when i clear it take it out around 20 miles it comes on again. Autozone told me the Code P0171 and the 3 problems.
First i checked for vacuum leak noting cant hear or see it.
Second i washed the MAF sensor. (can you wash it)
Only leaves me with the Heated oxygen sensor can anyone tell me where that sensor is?
And any ideas i should try or do Thanks.

Another thing to check when you're running lean is the PCV valve. Common issue on A4s.
When you say "wash" do you mean with water and soap? You should use MAF cleaner: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...entifier=36011

Looks to be a common problem
I just went through this same thing on my 2007 A4. Started with P0171, then added P0300 - 0304 and P0507.
Call the dealer.
They replaced the PCV, the Air Intake Flapper and the breather tubes - $0
There is an extended repair campaign or something like that extending the warranty on these components to 120k.
If you're not sure, call Audi USA first.
