thanks I have a 2.0T it came with 17 in wheels it is not S line but I have the S line wheels that I bought after .

That's weird my door sticker says 36 psi.

Mine came with dunlop sport maxx

Default Maybe that's it. Mine came with Pirelli P6 "No Seasons" which I prompty swapped for SportMaxx.

I've been running 38 on the SportMaxx, but perhaps should go higher.

Default I think I see what it is by RTFM. There's no listing for 235/40-18 All-seasons.

And the door label is for "recommended cold tire inflation pressure for the vehicle at its maximum capacity weight and tires that were on your vehicle at the time it was manufactured."

So the 39 PSI on Casper's matches what the manual says to have for a full load condition 235/40-18 XL High Performance. There just is nothing in the manual's table for 235/40-18 XL All-Season tires. (Which is apparently 36 PSI.)
