How does the B7 (2008) stock suspension compare to previous models?

I'm considering a used B7 2008 A4 2.0tqm with stock suspension and wondering if it's comparable to my 1998 A4 V6 2.8qm with sport suspension. Everyday driving, not track, so looking for firm, not harsh. Thanks!

I figure if I give Audi 10 years of time, I'd be willing to bet they've improved the suspension setup and design. Just a hunch though.

Can you, maybe, improve your question some??
