How many miles does a full-tank go on your cars ? mine used to go 300 for a full-tank and now
it can only go 260 miles, what the hell? does it have anything to do with my previous service ? the reason i took it in was cuz my yellow Engine Check Light went up, and the problem turned out as one of the 4 spark plugs failed to work, what happens afterwards was that everytime i come to a stop with Drive in Gear (i got a Tip, tip sucks IMO) and my foot on the brake pad, the whole steering wheel starts viberating, maybe its got something to do with that ? please help.
P.S the dealer told me that if i were to fix it, it'd be on my own cost ... wtf ?

I still cant fathom how these people get over 400 miles per tank....I am lucky to get 300. These people must drive like my grandma?

It sounds like you are running with 3 cylinders. That explains the shaking and the bad MPG
Take it back to the dealer and get it fixed right.
Sounds like a bad coil pack to me...but what do I know..I had only 4 failed in my last 2 Audis

I get about 260. The dealer says it is because of reformulated gas.
Im in Louisville, and they told me to try some gas sold at stations outside the city, and my gas mileage should improve because it is not necessarily reformulated like in the city.

I've averaged about 27 mpg over the last 10,000 miles
My driving is about 70% highway / 30% city.
My trip computer2 shows my average mpg over 9999 miles (as high as it goes)as 27.6 mpg.
Here in upsate NY, we have plenty of 93 octane which is what I always run. I'm a bone stock 2.0T Quattro Tip.
I'm not **** about calculating my mpg, but average rough estimates show that the trip computer is pretty close.
I usually go about 360 miles between pumps and pump about 13 gallons each time.
I'm usually going about 75-80 mph on the highway with the cruise set.
My city driving is not usually heavy stop and go. Just a lot of red lights.

Off topic, but just had my 15k service yesterday
Big thumbs up for Roger Burdick Audi in Cicero, NY.
I live about 70 miles north of there. He's the closest US dealer to me. (You know you live up north when the actual closest Audi dealer is in Canada)
Anyway, they took me as a walk-in on a Wednesday morning at 9:30. Fast and dependable service. (this is the third time they've serviced my car, but I did not buy it from them)
When it was time to sign the slip, I asked the service manager why he didn't charge me for the tire rotation I'd requested, since it's not included in AA.
He said that he always throws that in free for his customers because he has to take the wheels off to check the brakes anyway.
Pretty cool. Many dealers would have charged for that simply because they could.

I get about 380 per tank. I drive mostly highway though.. I only go til the light comes on, then go for a fill up. Does it matter what gas you use? I heard the higher Octane the better mileage. I use Plus. Any thoughts?
