Default I have a cel and the car is acting really weird

Today i came home to a dead car. I had it jumped and the epc light came on. I thought it may be my programming so i reset it. The car drove and seemed fine, until i hit the gas hard. The boost gauge was only showin 10 psi max, which with the K04 i have i knew it was not good. Afterwards i went to the gym came out to once again a dead car. My fiance jumped me again and i began to drive. Now the epc, traction, and cel lights all came on. The car is so limp i never felt anything like it. The car will not boost at all and when i hit the gas it feels like i am pulling a semi from behind. In addition to this the car alarm is now going off speratically. Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of such a thing? Could my ECU be fried? We had a rain storm today that was really bad and water actually came through my firewall of the car and soaked my left leg. I know there is an opening in the wall there (noticed it when i installed the boost gauge). Please let me know if anyone has an idea what it can be. (i also heard a clicking noise from the fuse panel area. I will be checking the fusing in the morning! Help!!!

Default If you left an opening when installing the boost guage then yes...

you sure could have fried some electronics. Despite there being a hole there, it is normally completely sealed but once you crack openings in there and do not seal it back off properly you can get water in there. THe only way water came in and soaked your leg was that there is no seal preventing this. I would start the inspection process.

Default have your apr dealer reflash your ecu..sounds like

and electrical issue for starters, and if all the lights and stuff are flickering then it could be that you either
1)need a reflash
2)need an ecu
3)water found its way to a plug that interferes with the ecu and corroded the terminal providing it with less power.since you mentioned that you have a boost and water penetrated that same hole, then that would be my first check.
4)like you said, could also be some fuses that could of shorted out if water got too involved with the plugs' contacts.
sorry to hear and hope all goes simple and well

Default An ECU flash should not "go bad" as it is uploaded software...

and not a soldered chip anymore that could come unsoldered. If it ran ok once then the program should never change. I agree with you on the water.

Default agreed - that sounds like a grand failure of some kind, ...

... especially if it didn't come in around the door seal. If it came from under the dash or through the firewall, as you say, I'd be surprised if it's not causing a problem of some kind...
