Default If I'm getting coilovers and aftermarket wheels...

Should I bypass the sports package and use the money for the aftermarket rims/tires/suspension?

Default Spend the $250. You'll get it on the back end if you ever have to sell the car stock.

Not to mention, if you want to sell the stock wheels, the sports will be worth more

Default For 2006, "sold order" Sport Suspension is $250

For 2005.5 Sport package was $600.

I don't see how they can charge $3K (or $2750) for the S-Line package. That's just absurd.

Default That's the problem...

They need to charge more for the suspension upgrade and give it a real sport suspension. My sport suspension 2.0T Avant brand new isn't as buttoned down as my old 323i sport package was at 75000 miles. Good suspensions cost money, you can only go so far in making the springs stiffer before you need to really pony up for quality damping. My wife already mentioned that she thinks it needs new tires, but that's only because she doens't realize that even these all-season (canadian sport package) tires are not the weak link right now.
