I've been to the Island. I know it's bad. Any major land-limited metro area will have bad traffic. But at least we have awesome weather, which is another reason why I don't need quattro or sport suspension. Most people don't realize this but both Vegas and Phoenix have had more snow reach the ground in the last 30 years than San Francisco (since I think 1972 was the last time it did) and if we get one day with an 1/8 of an inch of rain between mid-April and mid-October it's a shocker. However, the incredibly thick year-round afternoon fog tends to moisten things enough, except for old Hash House Harriers trails, and then you just have to pay attention -- on on!

Due date on my 2.0 CVT: May 6.

I am with you. I wouldn't pay 2K for this either, that is a bunch of money for what it is.
