Just bought an A4
I just bought a 2008 A4 2.0T with 8800 miles.
I was hoping to get some extra power with a chip. Does this really work? What is the best way to go?
Thanks

Yes, it makes a big difference. Especially if you go with an exhaust and test pipe/high flow cat. Popular chips are the APR, Revo and GIAC. Search on those and you will see.
I have an APR Stage II (HFC), and the car has the power it should have had from the factory.

Check out my mods below in my signature. I gotta tell u, the car HAAAAUUUULLLLLSSSS!!! First thing was the stage 1 chip.....lot of extra power. After a while you'll realize the car is still a little slow. Then comes the exhaust and high flow cat / test pipe. Now, the car really moves. Where you go from here is up to you. I went with the APR fuel pump and stage 2+ flash...this reeeealllly gets the car going. I finally threw in the Carbonio CAI and WOW, it makes a big difference. The turbo really spools loud and hard now. All these power mods can be done for about $4000. It's really worth it. For an S4, you're going to pay a lot more than $4k for the engine. The V8 does sound smoother, but i'm not sure if a stock S4can match up with all these mods on the 2.0T. Maybe someone can enlighten me??
P.S. Get good spark plugs!!!!
