Just got a set of RS4 OEM wheels for my B7 A4 2.0T.

I've got the stock sports suspension and the 17'' stock wheels currently. They have a 40 offset.
Do you guys think I'll have any problems rubbing with 45 offset 19'' RS4 wheels?
TIA!

RS4 OEM rims have an offset of 29. Stock 17" wheels have an offset of 45. From what I understand, there is no way to get OEM RS4 rims on a B7 without rolling the fenders. You should check your RS4 wheel specs again to verify.

Sorry for being a total idiot here, but I thought the number listed on the inside of the wheel was the offset.
Inside my stock 17'' rims the number 40 is listed. Inside the 19'' RS4 wheels it says 45.
Is this not the offset for each wheel?

or we're speaking two different languages here. I did a search on the B7 forum for "fender rolling" and "roll fenders" and I get a few posts saying things like "if I get those big a$$ rims I may have to roll the fenders"....... I see no B7 post where someone actually rolled the bloody fenders!
My point is, there's nothing really there to roll! There's no lip, it's basically flat around the inside.
Regardless, I'd buy the correct offset so the dang things would fit! :-)

The widest offset we recommend on a B7 A4 with an 8" wide wheel is ET 30 to avoid rubbing. a 9" wide wheel with a ET 29 offset is 12mm (1/2") further out than that. Now you might be able to run a skinny tire and maybe get away with no rubbing but your wheel will more than likely end up poking out past the edge of your fender...
